Sometimes...I just cant help when the food is 'calling' me.

I went to supermercato, just 15 mins before they were closed, buying ingridients for cookies =]

I, then, have been making:

one dozen on dark choc chips cookies

one dozen of white choc+nocciole+miele cookies

half dozen of the mix

accompanied by red wine+edu+lau+digital monopoli =]

what a wonderful life =]

...

my gratin is calling me

gotta go to the kitchen

After the presentation and it is cold outside. One cup of freshly made soup is always nice.
I like:
The steam that appears
The smell of the kitchen
The movement of the boiling vegetables

Thank you for Yas, for giving me such a nice cup =] I remembered you said: "I could imagine you, having a cup of nice soup with this cup" That tought also put a smile on my tired face today.

Zuppa di Patate e Piselli

1 medium onion
3 medium potatoes
1 can of green peas, drained
5 fresh basil leaves
1 pinch og dried erbe di provencal [I used Lau's Granma's]
3 garlic cloves
1/2 vegetable cube
500ml water
extra virgine olive oil
salt and pepper

Boil the water, the peel and chop the potatoes, garlic and onion.
When the water boiled, put everything and boil till very soft.
Salt and pepper here and there.
Then blend everything using food processor or blender.
Drizzle with olive oil and black pepper.
Serve hot.
Better with toasted bread =]

I went to Netherland to attend meet my brother David [I havent seen him for 10 months, although we live quiet near - in our family the definition of near is...[in our case] the same continent a.k.a Europe hehe] also to see Dutch Design Week, and attending the opening of Lorenzo and  Marco's painting exhibition.
It was a great weekend for me. Away from the school routine and Milano.
I had a great time.
Especially meeting my brother.
Long time ago, when we lived two hours away by car, everytime I felt down, I would just drive to see my brother and sister. Just by seeing them, I would feel better. And now, although years have passed, there are things that never change.

I live in a very different enviroment I have ever lived before. I enjoy it in a different way too. I dont know, I just go with the flow, I dont have any parameters anymore of how my life should be. I just want to enjoy every single second.

One of my favourite places in Milano. In a quite street near busybusybusy duomo. Wonderful to have tea there.

Today we had presentation at Pentole Agnelli in Bergamo. Great. Everybody was happy. We really like the finished packaging of Bob Nabe. But well, after the presentation we had to say goodbye to Bob, we left him there for the company to explore him more. Bob finally got a new home, but we were sure he wouldnt be lonely since there are so many 'nabe' there. We also had one 28cm aluminium frying pan coated with platinum teflon from the company to take home. Nice!
